Punch Bucket Literary Festival
Join Appalachian poets Annie Woodford, Lacy Snapp, and Anna Laura Reeve for a Punch Bucket Lit reading, “Earth to Bind Us”: Three Female Voices of Appalachia, at the Renaissance Hotel in Ballroom C1 in Asheville, North Carolina. All Over the Page / The Beat live recording
This month, Knoxville Public Library has a special All Over the Page meetup. In conjunction with National Poetry Month we will have readings and discussion from two different poets. Valediction by Linda Parsons and Reaching the Shore of the Sea of Fertility by Anna Laura Reeve.
In celebration of National Poetry Month, Linda Parsons and Anna Laura Reeve will read from their most recent books, and there will be a Q&A session and snacks! The program will be recorded live and released as an episode of The Beat, Knox County Public Library’s poetry podcast.
This special session will be held in the 3rd floor classroom of the Lawson McGhee Library at 500 W. Church Ave, downtown Knoxville.
Poet Quartet at Malaprops Bookstore

Poetry Master Class, James Agee Conference
Free and open to the public, Pellissippi State Libraries Appalachian Heritage Project invites Anna Laura Reeve to give a poetry master class at the 2024 James Agee Conference, Saturday March 2, at 9:30am. Stay for presentations on fiction, rare book collecting, creative nonfiction, and a musical performance, followed by author book signings at 3:30pm, and an open mic for participants at 4:00pm.
Three Emerging Writers Series
On Monday, February 12, East Tennessee State University’s Three Emerging Writers Series welcomes Anna Laura Reeve, Halle Hill, and Annie Woodford to campus to speak to students and the public about their writing. This event will be held at 4:00pm in the Reece Museum in the Embodying Culture: Women in Appalachia exhibition.
